Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:

  1. Guiding and directing visitors;
  2. Operating the telephone switchboard;
  3. Managing incoming calls and customer service enquiries;
  4. Managing the customer care desk;
  5. Maintaining up to date records on visits and calls; and
  6. Updating the internal directory.
Job Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  1. KCSE D+ or equivalent from a recognized institution and two (2) years relevant work experience;
  2. Certificate in Customer Care or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and
  3. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Key competencies and skills

  1. Proficiency in IT;
  2. Public Relations skills;
  3. Good communication and reporting skills in both English and Kiswahili;
  4. Interpersonal skills; and
  5. Integrity.
